I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. During my studies, I was drawn toward Shiatsu (Japanese meridian massage) and mental and emotional healthcare. Hearing my patients say that they slept without nightmares, were eating better, and felt increased stability was so exciting and rewarding. Following graduation, I traveled to Nanjing, China for 6 weeks of advanced studies observing in acupuncture and moxibustion in hospitals, visiting herb farms and markets, and learning herbal formulas in hospital consultations.
Yoga has been an important part of my life for 15 years, and recently became a certified yoga instructor through the Lotus Seed School on an immersion trip to Tulum, Mexico. What an amazing journey it was! My yoga practice helps me to control body pain and balance my emotions.
In my down time, I enjoy cooking delicious and nutritious foods, cuddling with my cat, singing, and soaking up sunshine. Traveling and being in nature are my favorite way to feel free and happy. I enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories. Being able to help better lives is a true blessing. Thank you so much!
